Kolkata: An anti-US rally called in by a Muslim group in Kolkata against the 'anti-Islam' film turned violent as protesters tried to break through police barricades and enter the American Centre.
The film has led to violent protests worldwide, including demonstrations in Chennai and Jammu and Kashmir in India.
The film, 'Innocence of Muslims', by US director Sam Bacile, reportedly mocks Prophet Mohammad.
