West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee along with Hon’ble Judge of the Kolkata High court finally lays the foundation stone for a Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri. On addressing the huge mass, CM mentions that the initial legal houses are in poor infrastructural condition. With relation to this CM says that a complete new house will be established soon. Also all other legal houses shall be upgraded accordingly.
Ms. Banerjee feels that Jalpaiguri is rich with resources and hence she, as the head of the West Bengal proposes to make further development.
Mamata also mentions that within approximately 16 months of TMC goverment, the law and order scenario of the state have been in a better condition. About 19 Human Rights port have been established. More than one pending cases have been resolved.
65 new ladies police station and 19 Human Rights Legal House will be developed.
Siliguri will have their new Film City. Also Small scale industries will be promoted with time.
At the end, Mamata Banerjee says that due to certain legal and technical issues the Circuit Bench will take 2 years to take its final shape.
