Trinamool MPs protested by organizing an agitation outside the Parliament against the rising price of fertilizers. In this regard both TMC MP Sudip Bandopadhyay and Dinesh Trivedi said that if the price of fertilizers is increased then it will directly affect the farmers. As a result the poor farmers will not be able to purchase fertilizers which will have direct impact on agricultural production and as well as on their income.
Therefore Central should immediately focus on this issue and take steps to reduce the fertilizer price. Trivedi further mentioned that Trinamool Congress under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee had always stood beside the poor farmers and this time also there will be no compromise.
