overnor MK Narayanan was presiding over a function on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Bidhan Sabha Legislative Assembly. In 1862, the council was formed. After which Provisional Legislator given power and assembly created. Over the past 75 years, around 2232 Acts were formed.
The Land Reforms Act was formed in 1956,Panchayat Act formed in 1957 and 1973.West Bengal Labour Welfare Act was formed in1974.He further added that the Assembly gives every individual the freedom to hold frank discussion and all rights of people are protected.
