Finally State Government moved to Supreme Court against the High Court verdict on Singur case that declares Singur Act as void and unconstitutional. However after giving the verdict Hon’ble Calcutta High Court had given two months time period to State Government for appealing against the verdict in Supreme Court. Therefore accordingly State has finally appealed to Supreme Court against the verdict given by the division bench of Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghosh and Justice Mrinal kanti Choudhury that declared the section 3, 4 and 5 of Singur Act as void and unconstitutional.
